Job Title: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Houston, TX

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM CST

Duration: 8 Weeks

Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position in Houston, TX. As an integral member of our healthcare team, the chosen candidate will provide exceptional patient care during evening shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare facility and make a difference in the lives of patients requiring long-term acute care.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• CPR certification (does not need to be AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in LTAC or a similar setting.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the LTAC setting.
• Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
