Job description

The User Experience Researcher is responsible for planning, conducting and drawing actionable insights from field research, including interviews and observations. The User Experience Researcher develops and owns research projects, and is able to analyze and use data to move the business forward.

  • Conduct usability research online and in the field, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as a member of a team that acts as a repository of research-based usability knowledge.
  • Work with the product team to test business requirements using heuristic and qualitative methods.
  • Determine user needs by conducting task-focused analyses.
  • Work with user experience and visual designers to test proposed look and feel initiatives.

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Visual Design or similar experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, domain experts, users, and developers
  • Mastery of wire-framing and prototyping software
  • Understanding user centered design theory and best practices
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environment
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented designer
  • Eye for clean design with the ability to translate ideas and requirements into detailed interaction flows and prototypes
  • Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time
  • Exceptional creativity, enthusiasm, team spirit, commitment, and professionalism
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of clients and employees
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and design techniques
