Overview:
Our long-term client relationship with JSC has led to a need for a Work Life Cycle Analyst on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration Contract (HSFTIC) at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).

Responsibilities:
The Work Life Cycle Analyst will:
Support a highly skilled project team directly contributing to the NASA ISS Program mission supporting the Space Station Vehicle.
Interact with NASA contractor/technical leads and program management to identify Liens and Threats (potential financial impacts) against the ISS Vehicle budget.
Attend and provide support at required meetings weekly.
Maintain/update liens and threats in the Integrated Tracking System (ITS) database.
Conduct Pre-WLC bi-weekly meetings with management team.
Conduct and present a monthly WLC meeting with ISS Vehicle management and integrators.
Maintain spreadsheets tracking ATP (Authority To Proceed) dates, flex budget, and liens and threats impacts to budget.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience.
-OR-
Typically requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience.
Excellent communication skills, ability to interface with various customers.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently.
Excellent data gathering, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of project financial management principles and best practices.
Advanced, working knowledge of MS Excel.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and take initiative in completing tasks with minimal management direction.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Experience working in Human Space Flight programs.
Familiarity with Government budgeting process, budgeting, financial and project control.
Experience working in data automation solutions.
Experience presenting to high level management is a plus.
Essential Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
