Overview:
The Systems Analyst II (Power, Automation & Controls) will be a technical SME tasked with inventory movement and maintenance, data management, statistical analysis of equipment performance, and assisting the operations with systemic moves all within the Distribution Warehouse. The enviornment in which this team member will be working in will be mostly spent in a control room but will be trained in team member responsibilities to assist in all hands-on deck situations. The tasks associated with interfacing with the Warehouse Execution System and Warehouse Control System are mission critical for the day-to-day buisness. Lastly, this individual will be joining the Chick-fil-A Supply LLC. family with the goals of being able to provide a caring, consistent, and reliable service through its distribution networks helping support Chick-fil-A restaurants and their communities.
As wholly owned subsidiaries of Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply and Bay Center Foods are food production and distribution services networks focused entirely on serving the unique needs and growing volume of Chick-fil-A restaurants.
The Chick-fil-A Supply service networks are comprised of two components:
Distribution Center - State-of-the-art warehouses that house supply for Chick-fil-A restaurants
Transportation - Growing fleet of delivery vehicles that supply Chick-fil-A restaurants
Responsibilities:
Business Requirements
Strong technical background to help troubleshoot and eliminate tough problems, as well as implement new solutions
Manage and coordinate warehouse systems events either through WMS (Warehouse Management System) or WES (Warehouse Execution System)
Execute and run weekly - monthly reports on equipment performance and deliver to the Controls Engineer
Handle level 1 events and outages either with WMS or WES and escalate to the proper channels
Capable of moving compliant product and non-compliant product in systematic and controlled fashion
Primary point of contact for cycle counts, recall's, etc
Capable of developing a Root Cause Analysis and drive work in systematic and structured form
Customer Relations
Capable of working with a diverse team to help drive out losses and improve performances. Cross Disciplinary team includes and is not limited to: Industrial Engineers, Operations Managers, Operator Techs, Maintenance Techs, Foods Safety and Environmental Health and Safety
Possess intimate knowledge of who the customers are and the ability to put others above himself/herself
Demonstrate the ability to value both relationships and results
Minimum Qualifications:
Soft Skills:
Capable of learning in a dynamic, complex environment
An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations
Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs, confined spaces, elevated positions, etc
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Capable of working rotating shifts, and potentially only evening shifts
Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.
Technical Skills:
Capable of running statistic reports on platforms like Excel
Adept in Microsoft Software Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree from a technical college with studies focused on industrial systems like WMS or WES
Logistics and Supply Chain industry experience in a warehouse enviornment
Experience working with a Warehouse Management System, ideally Manhattan
Experience working with either a Warehouse Execution System or Warehouse Control Systems
Programming knowledge and experience desired, i.e., Python, LabVIEW, Java, C#, MATLAB, etc
