Job description

One of our Manufacturing clients in Irving, TX is seeking an Accounting Supervisor with over 6 years of experience. The successful candidate will lead a team of accountants and manage responsibilities such as lease accounting, financial statement reporting and analysis, consolidation, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other ad-hoc tasks. You will assist in guiding the team through month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes. Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 842 is required, and a Bachelor's degree is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee lease accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, reconciliations, journal entries, and special projects.

Lead month-end closings, reconciliations, and audits.

Provide financial statement analysis.

Required Skills:

Experience in financial statement analysis.

Proven ability to motivate and develop team members.

Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and proactive issue resolution.

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA certification.

Knowledge of IFRS.

Experience with SAP GL and SAP BPC.
