Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Key Role:
Partners with VP Operational Integration for coverage of transactions requiring project management leadership across the enterprise
Trains and supports Operations and CLT leadership and partners with support services
Leads site operational integration ground support and shares accountability with Operations for developing and implementing the initial phase of the deal execution plan
Responsible for the success of the integration and onboarding of assigned development transactions in shared accountability with Operations and Development Leads
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Understand the transaction value proposition and the execution strategy. Partner and work seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders to execute the global deal project plan for people, processes, and systems.
Document detailed operational execution plans with milestones, timelines and resources
Partners with SCA Operations leader to manage the overall execution of the acquisition or de novo deal model and stays engages up until approximately 120 days post close
Understand deal risks and determines mitigation strategy and plans
Quickly identify, escalate, and resolve issues
Assists facility CEO and staff with acquisition/integration change management
Completes onsite assessment and monitoring of staffing patterns to ensure efficient and cost-effective utilization of personnel.
Interviews, recommends, and orients new Facility Administrators when applicable
Assist in providing training, supervision, and assistance to Facility Administrators in day-to-day operational issues for initial integration to SCA.
Assess and ensure the implementation of SCA's clinical quality standards.
Ensure identification of and development of proactive plans to foster physician relationships, ensuring alignment to operational execution plans and deal model commitments
Attends Medical Executive Committee/Governing Body and Partnership meetings as required
Secondary Position Responsibilities:
Organizes available resources within the area to meet area goals and eliminate inefficiencies.
Supports accreditation and positions non accredited centers for future accreditation.
Operates within compliance of federal and state rules and regulations.
Assess morale at each facility to ensure a plan for a positive climate of teamwork.
Support in payor contracting.
Performs all other duties as assigned by VP Operational Integration.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters preferred.
Graduate of a healthcare degree program or a minimum of five years management experience in healthcare.
Must be experienced in working with various levels of employees.
Experience in working in Ambulatory Surgery Centers with physicians, patients, and various clinical staff desirable.
Excellent project management skills with ability to craft and implement people strategy that drives business results
Intellect and pragmatism to be able to handle ambiguity and lead change, a natural tendency toward discreteness
