This position supports the organization and implementation of Heidelberg Materials' Maintenance Programs. The CCC Electrical Maintenance Manager will report directly to the CCC Head of Maintenance. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the economic viability of all plant assets and an effective progress and improvement program through the efforts of plant personnel. These efforts will place the plants in a competitive position for the short, medium, and long term.
What You'll Get to Do:
Provide technical expertise, support, and direction to facilities, engineering, and management.
Support facilities in the implementation of Heidelberg Materials Maintenance Programs.
Support and develop predictive and preventive maintenance reliability and inspection systems.
Develops condition-based electrical maintenance programs.
Provide expertise in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of plant system problems to achieve minimal disruptions in operations.
Support and develop standards for improved maintenance and spare parts management.
Assist plants in managing proper spare parts inventory levels, criticality, and storage.
Support Heidelberg Materials' facilities in the repair and replacement of major equipment. This will involve both onsite and/or remote assistance.
Develop, organize, and deliver maintenance training for plant staff and craft personal.
Track the latest developments in maintenance procedures, technology, and digitalization. Implement those that align with company goals and objects into Heidelberg Materials' maintenance programs.
Serve as the Project Manager for projects which includes:
Determining project plan, budget, personnel, and timeline
Leading the project members and oversight for attainment of milestones
Prepare scopes of work and assist with contract preparation.
Evaluating vendors and contractors to assist with the project.
Providing project status reports to CCC Management, Plant Management and Steering committee as appropriate
Conducting post-implementation evaluation and ongoing consultation
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required, electrical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
Fluent with NEC, NFPA, ISA, etc.
Knowledge and experience with the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as large industrial motors, power distribution systems, breakers, high voltage systems, variable speed drives/motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, control systems, and other electrical equipment in an industrial environment.
Solid understanding of arc flash safety, studies, and mitigation techniques.
Solid understanding of short circuit and coordination studies.
Solid understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles, techniques, and technologies
Technical knowledge of electrical spare parts and components
Demonstrated ability to manage and motive others.
Solid project management, problem solving and creativity, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Ability to integrate the needs of multiple parties into an overall goal.
Strong communication skills to ensure coordination of work and completion of tasks.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (including MS Excel, Word, Teams, and Project) and AutoCAD
Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, problem solving and creativity, strategic thinking, and decision making.
Willingness to travel extensively in North America
Ability to perform tasks that include walking, climbing equipment, working within confined spaces
