Job Description: JBPM Architect with Project Management Skills

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled JBPM Architect with some project management experience to lead our development team in designing and implementing workflow solutions. The ideal candidate will initially engage in coding tasks before transitioning into a more architectural role, focusing on performance improvement and fine-tuning of our Java-based projects. This position requires a strong background in workflow design, particularly with JBPM or Camunda.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architecture Design: Lead the design and architecture of workflow solutions using JBPM or Camunda, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

- Coding: Actively participate in coding during the initial phases of the project, contributing to the development of Java-based applications.

- Performance Improvement: Analyze existing workflows and implement strategies for performance enhancement and optimization.

- Project Management: Manage sprints and oversee project timelines, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment on project goals.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, coding standards, and best practices.

Required Skills:

- JBPM Expertise: Strong experience with JBPM is preferred; experience with Camunda or other workflow tools is an acceptable alternative.

- Java Proficiency: Solid understanding of Java programming and its application in workflow solutions.

- Workflow Design Experience: Proven experience in designing workflows that optimize business processes.

- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects effectively, including sprint planning, execution, and team coordination.

About the Project:

This role involves a balance of managerial responsibilities (20%) and hands-on JBPM architectural work (80%). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our workflow solutions while also guiding the development team through agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on workflow tools.

- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
