Responsibilities:
The Regional Director - Operations is a qualified professional and is an employee of the Agency. The Regional Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the administrative, clinical and community relations area while carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures for multi facilities within a region.

Directs implementation of approved work methods and procedures that reflect elements essential to rendering high quality care

Ensures that the professional standards of community nursing and therapy practice are maintained by all agencies for the region assigned

Responsible for the review, analysis, and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total Agency program for the region

Interprets and transmits policies of the Governing Body to the professional staff in order to insure compliance with policies

Selects and maintains a qualified, well-organized staff to supervise daily operations of the agencies for which they are responsible

Establishes staffing patterns, which reflect the staffing model and the quality and quantity of various professional personnel necessary to plan, provide, and supervise the care rendered to patients and families

Working with the HarmoneyCares Home Health leadership team, establishes methods for coordination of care by all disciplines and assists in formulation of short and long term strategic goals and plans

Gives leadership in promoting and maintaining standards for giving good quality care by all members of the patient care team

Assures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Reviews policies relevant to patient care with the Administrator and other staff

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Physical
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or related field or 4 years supervisory
experience

Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record

Five years of supervisory and/or administrative experience

Two years of home health experience

Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities

The ability to be available at all times, either in person or telephonically

Proficiency in personal computer use, including e-mail, clinical, word processing, spreadsheet and
presentation software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrates integrity, good judgment and initiative

Knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal and local level

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in a variety of seasonal environments

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder

Ability of repetitive walking, standing, sitting, bending and use of hands

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

A current unencumbered State Professional Nurse or Therapy license

Master's degree
