Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following:

Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.

Responsible for decontamination and cleaning of all equipment and instruments; ensures cleanliness and sterility of all instruments.

Accurately assembles instruments sets based on established count sheets; effectively uses materials and supplies while minimizing waste.

Appropriately prepares and packages single instrument items, differentiating items requiring steam versus gas sterilization.

Stores, delivers, and manages sterile supplies using aseptic technique.

Evaluates functioning of equipment; reports malfunction follows through to ensure appropriate repairs are complete and

maintenance performed preventing future damage.

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all clinical areas between patients.

Stocking and Re-stocking treatment rooms and open bay area with all necessary dental supplies.

Help maintain the Daily/Weekly/Monthly Dental Assistant Checklist

Help maintain and document maintenance on all dental equipment.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.

Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).

Qualifications:
You will be required to possess the following:

One (1) or more years of practical experience as a dental sterilization technician (Preferred).

Physical ability of transporting supplies and equipment.

Basic computer skills.

Prioritize multiple demands and requests to maintain patient flow.

Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members as needed.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.

Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology (Preferred).

Pay Range:
USD $17.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.
