ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Provide patient treatment, instruction and other related services following the Speech Language Pathologist's evaluation and establishment of the patient's plan of care and/or goals.
Report all significant outcomes of patient treatments to the Speech Language Pathologist for intervention and/or plan of care revision
Maintain necessary documentation including daily patient progress notes, home/exercise instructions and any other support entries allowed by State statute in coordination with supervising SLP.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a bachelor's degree/four-year Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program approved by the Council of the Academic Accreditation American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)
Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Texas
A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position
