(Free Standing ER) - Lubbock, TX

Excellent Pay $430,000 - $480,000 annually

Introduction

We are looking for our next CLINICAL HERO. As a Medical Director at Complete Care, you will provide leadership, healthcare management, and guidance to members of the medical staff who provide emergency services to all patients. You will work cooperatively and supportively with all departments to ensure patient care and service excellence goals are met.

The Medical Director will demonstrate the ability to speak effectively on administrative and clinical matters related to emergency medicine.

Experience

The position requires minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
The director shall have comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices and techniques associated with the scope and complexity of care required by patients served.
The director must be available for counseling, advice, information, and general support to physicians and team members.
The director monitors correctness and appropriateness with chart reviews and implements corrective intervention as required.
The director ensures policies are known, understood, and implemented by the emergency physicians.
In conjunction with the leadership team, helps build enthusiasm, stability, teamwork, and competence among employees through supervision, individualized evaluation and counseling, training, and praise for a job well done.
The director is responsible for medical staff resources and scheduling.

Requirements
Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine or family care
Current license in good standing in the State of Texas
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS if not boarded in emergency medicine
Meet credentialing requirements per bylaws
Professional appearance
Positive upbeat attitude
