The Raytheon, Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Inter Organization Transfers (IOT) has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Cost Controls Analyst (P2) to join our team based out of McKinney, TX. This position will be responsible for the daily business and financial activities for a set of programs within our Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The selected candidate will be empowered to drive the finance process for a set of programs, monitor program health and compliance, and partner with functional team members to improve program financial metrics. The ideal candidate would be able to work in a challenging fast paced environment, be a success minded team member who possesses strong self-initiative and multi-tasking skills, be able to provide analytical support while under critical deadlines and be involved on process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate for this role should possess strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, strong problem-solving skills and have good communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. Candidate shall be comfortable working with and presenting to the program leadership team, lead engineers and other cross functional organizations. What You Will Do: Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting for a set of assigned programs. Frequent collaboration with the Program Manager, and CAM's/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance. Personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts. Actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically candidates will have a bachelors degree and 2 years' financial based experience or an advanced degree and less than 2 years experience. Experience using Microsoft Office tools (advanced excel preferred). Security Clearance - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experienced in preparation of financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis with an understanding of indirect cost and overhead rates Experience with SAP business systems APEX EV and PRISM EV Ability to quickly Master Business Systems Familiarity with RPLAN Continuous improvement Mindset: CORE Certified Interpersonal and presentation skills- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Excellent problem solving skills and a high attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter who shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis Additional Information: This position is grade P2, Sr. Analyst, Program Cost Controls. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
