Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends, and vacation periods to meet business needs.
Performs skilled trade duties in Carpentry and Finish Work required in the maintenance, repair and construction of Park, Restaurant, Office buildings and Equipment. Operates fixed and portable power tools and heavy equipment normally associated with the trade. Studies work orders, blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to construction methods, type of material required, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Solid knowledge of lumber types and grades, countertop materials, drywall, roofing and other building materials. Strong knowledge of power tools including but not limited to; compressors and pneumatic tools, drills, impact drivers, skill saw, jigsaw, reciprocating saw, oscillating saw, jointer, planer, band saw, miter saw and table saw. Skilled at operating, maintaining, and occasionally repairing multiple types of tools. Ability to operate or train to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to; forklift, reach forklift, boom lift.
Strong critical thinking skills to use logic not only to solve problems but also to foresee them before they occur. Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate between guests and peers, architects, subcontractors and Leadership. Ability to work with written blueprints or instructions supplied and develop material lists from same. Ability to inspect and find work in the absence of work orders or assigned projects, and assist other Maintenance Department associates as needed. Ability to complete work in a timely manner and maintain consistent production, especially with deadlines associated with seasonal park opening. Ability to consistently report for scheduled shifts and be punctual.

At least 18 years of age.
Valid drivers license required.
Ability to push, pull, lift at least 50 pounds (lbs).
Ability to climb and work at heights up to 100 feet.
Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel toed shoes and fall protection equipment.
Ability to pass a mandatory or random drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state or local law.
Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime.
Minimum 2 years experience in carpentry or general construction experience that includes carpentry.
Physical Requirements:
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, picking, pinching, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and/or fingers.
Very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades, tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
Exposure to environmental conditions such as rain, direct/indirect sun and heat for extended periods of time.
Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
Subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.

Exposure to multiple, high-stress situation at any given time and must maintain a high level of alertness.
