Job Title: IFS ERP Solution Architect - Supply Chain
Location: Houston, TX - Onsite/Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IFS ERP Solution Architect with a strong background in data migration. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes IFS Applications, and a proven track record in managing and executing data migration projects. This role involves working closely with client to analyse, design and implement seamless data migration. The consultant will also provide ongoing support and training to clients to optimize their supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis:
Collaborate with clients to understand their supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, and distribution.
Conduct in-depth business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Map client business processes to IFS functionalities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Data Migration:
Lead the data migration efforts related to IFS implementations, ensuring accurate and timely migration of supply chain data.
Collaborate with data architects and technical teams to design and execute data migration strategies.
Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for migrating data from legacy systems to IFS.
Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks post-migration to ensure data integrity.
Solution Design & Customization:
Provide expertise in IFS Applications to design tailored solutions that address specific client needs.
Customize IFS modules to fit unique client requirements, while ensuring scalability and sustainability.
Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
Training & Support:
Conduct training sessions for client end-users and key stakeholders, ensuring proficiency in using IFS Supply Chain Management modules.
Provide ongoing support to client's post-implementation, addressing any issues or questions related to supply chain management and data migration.
Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation to support the implementation and data migration processes.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with the latest IFS releases, supply chain trends, data migration tools, and best practices.
Recommend improvements to existing IFS implementations and data migration processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Participate in IFS community events, webinars, and training sessions to enhance expertise.
Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with IFS Applications, specifically in Supply Chain Management modules.
Proven experience in managing and executing data migration projects in an ERP environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, and distribution.
Experience in business process reengineering and change management.
Proficient in configuring and customizing IFS Supply Chain Management modules.
Strong expertise in data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
