Join the fun at Peppa Pig Theme Park as a technician! You'll be the hero behind the scenes, making sure all attractions run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. From maintaining equipment to quick troubleshooting, your skills will help bring smiles and giggles to every guest's visit.

Qualifications & Experience:
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and developing the attraction to the highest health and safety standards.

Oversee the inspection and maintenance of rides and equipment.

Knowledge of audio-visual systems and interactive programs and settings.

Familiarity with cinema operation on projectors and audio programs.

Experience in maintaining HVAC units.

Water quality experience or qualifications in plumbing, maintaining water chemistry in pools or Legionella is desirable.

Follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the department's operating plan, including daily Pre-Operational Safety and Maintenance Inspections on the ride.

Performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual inspections and preventive maintenance for all rides and other equipment.

Responds to calls during operating hours on all Technical and diagnoses system failures and provides immediate and corrective action.

Source on defective items/parts and instructional information to complete the repair process when needed.

Troubleshoots by referring to technical manuals while utilizing a systematic approach.

Inputs in software application after completion of inspections, corrective action, and/or repairs made.

Assist with the installation and maintenance of new equipment involved in a new development or project at the site.

Ability to complete landscaping tasks, mowing, edging, weeding and mulching landscape beds, trimming hedges and shrubs, monitoring and maintaining plant health.

Ensure all equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored correctly.

To always maintain a pleasant and approachable manner towards our guests.

To complete any other reasonable duty as detailed by the Technical Manager and Attraction Management Team.

Education and Experience:

Two years of maintenance experience in a technical or themed environment preferred.

Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and networking systems.

Understanding of pumps, motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.

Experience with electronics, AV systems, and DMX lighting.

Ability to troubleshoot PC hardware and software.

Skilled in low voltage wiring and safety practices.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and work in fast-paced environments.

Self-motivated with a passion for maintaining high standards, ideally with a professional qualification in mechanical or electrical fields.
