Overview of the Purchasing Coordinator role:

  • Create purchase orders
  • Ensure goods are received
  • Communicate status of orders and delays to branch
  • Partner with accounts payable to resolve discrepancies
  • Data entry of invoices
  • Special purchasing or procurement projects

Preferred Qualifications for the Purchasing Coordinator:

  • 2+ years purchasing or procurement experience
  • Solid MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organized
  • Great communication and follow-through
