iSphere.net is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Data Governance and Reporting Project Manager for a long-term opportunity to join our team in South Houston. Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in Information Management, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

- Minimum 5 years of direct project management experience, PMP certification desirable.

- Demonstrated expertise in data governance, data management, and administrative software and database systems support.

- Experience working with multiple entities and organizations to complete integration and reporting tasks.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

- Proven track record in all facets of project management.

- Solid understanding of data management principles, database technologies, data warehousing, and data analytics.

- Ability to effectively lead a team of technically skilled employees in an educational setting.

- Ability to develop and maintain systems documentation and end-user manuals.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

- Customer-centered and service-oriented.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

- Lead the Data Governance Framework Project, including strategy development and implementation.

- Create and implement policies, procedures, and standards for managing data assets.

- Define guidelines for collecting, storing, and sharing data.

- Ensure compliance with data regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

- Collaborate with departments to identify and address data quality issues.

- Manage the implementation of data validation checks and cleaning processes.

- Define and maintain data standards for the Data Warehouse/Lake Administration.

- Establish data definitions, business rules, and data lineage.

- Set data classification standards based on sensitivity and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with Compliance and Monitoring team to develop data retention policies.

- Support the implementation of digital records retention policies at scale.

- Implement data quality controls for cross-functional data use.

- Monitor data usage and conduct data audits.

- Create and implement training on Data Governance Best Practices.

- Oversee data integration processes and troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Mental Demands:

- Ability to read, write, understand, interpret, and apply information at a moderately complex level.

- Strong math skills and the ability to process information quickly.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

- Repetitive hand motions.

- Prolonged use of a computer.

- Steady phone interactions.

- Continuous sitting, reaching, and bending.

- Work outside and inside.

- Exposure to vehicle fumes.

- Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds.
