Job Description:

As a Business Planning Analyst, you are responsible to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

Role and Responsibilities

Manage system-based tools that provide real-time information regarding sales, purchase orders, order forecast and channel inventory

Coordinate with internal teams on the weekly production confirmation, EOH/aging clearance plan and purchase order tracking.

Monitor team performance by publishing daily/weekly KPI tracking reports to flag exception cases for early warning to the team to proactively drive corrective actions and improvements.

Support Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) supply chain process by providing internal reports and analysis during weekly planning meetings.

Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from internal and external customers in a time sensitive environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's degree Required; Minimum 3-5 years' experience in General Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields

Experience preferred in the telecommunications and/or wireless industry requiring management of finance, logistics, distribution, program management, and/or business planning, or equivalent work experience in planning, finance, or operations.

Experience should include daily/weekly reporting in a timely and accurate manner, researching and resolving operational data discrepancies.

Necessary Skills & Attributes:

Strong analytical and data management skills.

Detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.

The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while exercising excellent judgement

Must have advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills (including use of pivot tables and advanced formulas)

Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning, or financial planning systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
