Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote from WA, OR, CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM, CO, TX, KS, OK, FL, TN, OH, IN, IL, IA, MS, MO, MI, WA, WI, MD, PA, NY, NH, MA, RI, CT

Duration: Full Time, Direct Hire

Compensation: $125,000 - $130,000/year

General Summary

As part of the Information Technology team, the Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and documenting technical specifications, and ensuring the successful implementation of information systems within Smile Brands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze existing processes, identify pain points, and propose solutions that align with business objectives

Develop detailed functional specifications that clearly articulate the desired outcomes of the system

Collaborate with Product Teams, Development, Architecture, and all other internal and external partners

Creates & updates documentation

Coordinate unit and end-to-end testing

Manage and maintain vendor partnerships

Technical Skills and Abilities

Understanding of SDLC

Project management and planning activities, including estimating timelines, tracking progress, identifying risks, etc.

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Familiarity with software development, databases, and deployment methods

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong understanding of business processes and systems

Creative thinking and analytical skills

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or the equivalent in education and work experience

3-5+ years experience in business analysis or support in healthcare organizations
