Position Purpose: The Production Manager must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.

Green Brick Mortgage is seeking a dynamic and experienced Producing Production Manager to join our team in Plano, TX. In this dual role, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans while also leading and managing a team of loan officers to drive production goals and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in mortgage origination and leadership.

Responsibilities:
Originate and manage your own pipeline of residential mortgage loans.

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of loan officers to meet or exceed production targets.

Monitor individual and team performance, providing guidance and support where needed.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.

Work closely with operations, underwriting, and processing teams to ensure smooth loan processing and timely closings.

Maintain knowledge of current mortgage products, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.

Ensure all team members are following company policies and industry regulations.

Supervision of Others:

Loan Officers

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:

Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.

Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

Competencies:

Proven ability to manage and motivate a team while maintaining personal production.

Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, products, and regulations.

Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

NMLS license required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of mortgage origination experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
