JOB TITLE: Senior Network Engineer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION: Direct Hire/Fulltime

COMPENSATION: $125k-140k with 10% bonus.

LOCATION DETAILS: Plano, TX office-75074. 5 days onsite for an initial ramp period (around 2 weeks) then can go to 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Grow from individual contributor to lead. We need lead network engineers to help us manage our globally distributed team in LA, Texas, North Carolina, India, and China

• Work with highly regulated healthcare and financial network services requiring next generation cyber security stack from Cisco, Checkpoint, and Fortinet to insurance network service confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

• Work with regulated data in mainland China utilizing Aliyun cloud services.

• Work with India financial data utilizing Google cloud services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field

• CCNP Route Switch/Data Center

• 5+ years of performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting on a variety of network, LAN, WAN and wireless technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points and end users.

• Experience performing Core (L3) switch migrations.

• Advanced working knowledge in BGP and OSPF with route redistribution and policy-based routing

• Firewall background experience in Cisco ASA, Fortinet and/or Check Point that includes: HA design/implementation, SSL-VPN, IPsec Ikev1-2, GRE tunneling, captive portal and endpoint protection, NAT.

• Measure, evaluate, implement and review network performance improvement projects.

• Use the best combination of Identity Services Engine (ISE) capabilities.

• Deploy advanced network visibility and protection utilizing Stealthwatch to ensure error-free installation and integration into our network design.

• Experience with Checkpoint CloudGuard, SandBlast, and next generation firewall features such as DLP, physical firewalls, Identity awareness, IPS, URL filtering, Antivirus, R80, and application control.

• Experience with FortiGate Next-Generation firewalls, secure SD-WAN, IPS, Secure Web Gateway, management and analytics.
