Job description

Overview:
As a Support Analyst II, you will provide second-level business application, computer software and hardware support across CarePoint business operations. You will also work across business units and pharmacies to troubleshoot and resolve technical and software issues for users. You will assist in the development, mentorship, and motivation of other analysts focused on improving the support structure. Prior help desk support, pharmacy experience and/or application software support desirable.

Position Location

This is a remote-based position within the Continental US.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Earned or working toward Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent technical/vocational certification or equivalent experience is preferred

Prior help desk support

Retail pharmacy operations desirable

Knowledge of pharmacy systems

Knowledge of SQL Server and properties.

Detail oriented with strong attention to follow through.

Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems, applications, hardware, and communications

Ability to simultaneously coordinate and complete multiple projects

Knowledge of computer-troubleshooting techniques

Sound communication and presentation skills; ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to install and configure computer systems, hardware, and peripherals

Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:
Investigate, analyze, and resolve software and communications problems with computer systems.

Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process with support staff.

Assist in the resolution of issues that are escalated or have a complex scope that impacts the team and overall business objectives.

Prepare the department for new product/service releases.

Maintain a high-level quality of customer service standards in dealing with and responding to questions.

Support the enhanced cooperative interdepartmental and vendor relationships and communications.

Keep the Client Services Manager aware of all issues within the department.

Resolve Tickets to meet set Service Level Agreements

Qualifications:
Education:

High School graduation or equivalent is required

Pharmacy Technician license or training is preferred but not required

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent technical/vocational certification or equivalent experience is preferred

Experience:

Background in and exposure to PC maintenance/repair, application software support

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products required

Software and hardware certifications a plus

Retail pharmacy operations desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of pharmacy systems

Knowledge of SQL Server and properties.
