JOB TITLE: DEV SEC OPS ENGINEER
JOB LOCATION: RICHARDSON,TX
WAGE RANGE : 85.00-90.00 PER HOUR
JOB NUMBER: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with RedHat Linux
• Experience with Cloud based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
• Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent) Job Summary: As a Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer, you will herald a transformative era in software engineering, one that underscores the integration of development and operations through a comprehensive cloud-based platform. The role's core responsibility is for providing the design, development, implementation, and integration of a predominantly cloud based compute/network/storage infrastructure, as well as support modernizing the program platform's over-arching design through new emerging technologies and use of DevOps/DevSecOps tools and automation in-order to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate the release cycles, thereby driving efficiency and innovation. You will be on a team that is responsible for development and operational environments on a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. What You Will Do:
• Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure.
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across cloud based computing environments.
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
• Provide operational support for the platform. Qualifications You Must Have:

Qualifications We Prefer: • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab). • Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef • Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore). • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization. • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework. • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration. Required Education: • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
