Job Description:
Position Responsibilities

The Director, Benefits for Lennox International is responsible for the development and administration of employee benefit programs, including retirement, savings, and medical and life insurance plans. Ensures benefits programs comply with legal and reporting requirements. This position will work with key stakeholder on benefit strategies and program design.

Key responsibilities include:

Plans, directs, and controls the activities and staff involved in the development.

Design strategy and drive the implementation and administration of company employee benefit programs including group health/medical/dental coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement programs (DB and DC).

Oversees at a corporate level the onsite wellness center and wellness program.

Reviews company programs and evaluates current trends, practices, and costs.

Negotiates with carriers regarding rates, services, administration, and coverage.

Oversees the annual employee enrollment process and ensures employees are aware of their options.

Partners with vendors to review employee appeals process regarding benefit programs, such as claims denials, etc.

Prepares recommendations to senior leadership regarding rates, services, administration, and coverage.

Prepares recommendations to senior leadership regarding plan changes and modifications.

Oversees a team of benefit professionals and demonstrates an ability to motivate and inspire the team.

Assists with Board of Director presentations.

The benefit plans have achieved its cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Retirement programs are well communicated and managed with high employee engagement.

Wellness programs continue to improve the overall health and well being for employees.

Qualifications:
Education Requirements:

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human resources, business administration or finance, or a combination of education and experience.

Advanced degree preferred.

At least 10 years related experience.

Requires at least 5 years' experience as a manager
