Job description

Bryn Neil is looking for multiple candidates to join our world-class engineering team. We are seeking multiple skilled Infrastructure Engineers to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, configuring, and managing a robust containerized environment that will support the operational demands of our applications and services. Your expertise will be instrumental in advancing our Kubernetes and containerization strategy while ensuring secure and efficient systems.

We are looking to support a strategic customer with Infrastructure engineering support. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in infrastructure technologies and experience working in an AWS and Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.

Required Skills:
MUST Have proven / verifiable AWS experience
MUST have active clearance SCI, SSBI
Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Rancher/Kubernetes (RKE2) for container management and orchestration, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.
Container Image Management: Develop and manage container images and build containers to integrate seamlessly with our Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
System Administration: Work extensively within a Linux environment, particularly Red Hat 8.X and newer, to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot system issues.
Security Configuration: Configure SELinux to effectively operate with Kubernetes pods, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
Infrastructure Automation: Leverage Ansible for configuration management and automated deployment.
Certificate & Key Management: Oversee certificate creation, installation, and lifecycle management, ensuring system security and reliability.
Identity Management: Implement and manage access control and authentication using Keycloak and Vault.
YAML Proficiency: Utilize YAML for configuration management across various platforms and technologies.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a similar role, with proven expertise in containerization and Kubernetes. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Rancher, Kubernetes (RKE2), and containerization technologies.
Hands-on experience with Linux, specifically Red Hat or Rocky Linux 8.X or higher.
Strong understanding of SELinux configurations for Kubernetes.
Experience creating and managing container images and build containers for Jenkins.
Proficiency in YAML, Ansible, and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of certificate management, Keycloak, and Vault.

Desired Education (including Major):
Bachelor's Degree in STEM field (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Mathematics, etc) This is a general job description, the roles and responsibilities may vary depending on the team.
