We are looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to join the team at Crash Champions. In this vital role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll taxes while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. You will also provide essential support to the payroll department and oversee the administration of Crash Champions' corporate and ATE payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations, coupled with excellent analytical skills. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a keen focus on variance reporting, effectively managing complex issues, and leading strategic tax payroll projects.

Responsibilities:
Process payroll for Corporate Crash and ATE Automotive Technology Experts.

Resolve payroll discrepancies by gathering and analyzing relevant data.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll tax payments.

Respond to employee payroll inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.

Reconcile payroll tax liabilities and prepare necessary journal entries.

Research and address payroll tax discrepancies and inquiries.

Collaborate with vendors to open or close tax jurisdictions.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.

Assist with payroll tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Stay informed about changes in payroll tax laws and regulations.

Work closely with other departments, including finance and human resources, to ensure accurate payroll tax reporting.

Provide support and assistance to the payroll department as needed.

Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in data entry.

High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Strong math skills with experience in financial software and reporting.

Effective verbal communication and organizational skills.

Experience with ADP and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent telephone etiquette.

Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience preferred.

Associate's degree preferred.
