Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Communication Cell Operator. The Communication Cell Operator will provide advanced technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products and programs. What you will be doing (but not limited too): Responsible for the daily Communications Cell operations and alignment of GNOC communications to provide information to our key enterprise leaders and stakeholders.
Actively engage in the implementation of the Continual Service Improvement Plan for the Global Network Operations Branch (GNOB).
Monitor GNOC Ops Cell group box and answering Watch Officer (CIO) hotline
Manage GNOB POC Database for Enterprise Service Owners and Stakeholders
Provide customer support for ServiceNow (MHSSHD) usage issues
Confirm Master Incident and/or Problem record assignment for major issues
Support active documentation of ongoing service interruptions working closely with MIM team to document missing details needed on service interruptions.
Participate on MIM Bridge Calls and provide support for executive level information requests.
Review the Scheduled Outage Notifications (SCN) to determine if maintenance is causing reported outage issues.
Review documentation, notifications, and reporting of active service interruptions
Provide active updates to inbound leadership requests for information
Create EXSUM/AARs as requested
Facilitate the communications process for all major service interruptions ensuring comprehensive and proactive communications strategies to appropriately inform leadership.
Promote and educate DHA IT resolution teams both internal and external of the Major Incident Management Process and tool steps related to outage reporting.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree
Ablity to obtain Public Trust
Must be U.S Citizen
Familiar with Service Desk support methodology.
Must be able to work in a fast pace & stressful environment.
Be able to work on shifts (or on call) as necessary to support the 24x7 GNOC mission
Have or able to obtain a successful ADP II Public Trust or Secret Investigation adjudication
Experience developing various data analytics and operational performance reports.
Experience creating and delivering executive summary and after action reports.
Experience training various groups at various levels of the organization.
Experience in developing quality measures and approaches to enhance service quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with internal and external customers, vendors and management.
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM
Proven knowledge of ITILv4 practices
Proven problem coordination and root cause determination skills
