Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Project Manager I for Shelf Edge - Communications, you'll support project development and execution on initiatives that advance our business lines.

What is the work?
Project Management:
- Supports execution of project management lifecycle; works under supervision while learning, shadowing work, and progressing to owning components of a project
- Supports definition / management of project scope, schedule, deliverables, and outcomes
- Learns to develop work estimations
- Supports project documentation
- Supports project deliverables (e.g., plans for communication, risk mitigation, resources, architecture, implementation, and quality)
- Monitors project status; communicates expectations and status to team and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Supports stakeholder relationships, partnerships to ensure project success

- Negotiates timelines cross functionally to ensure project completion on time
- Gains exposure to professional services / technology contracts and contract management to achieve project outcomes and deliverables

What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 1-2 years of experience in grocery retail or large scale project manager

- Visual Merchandising is preferred but not required

Do you have what it takes to be a Corporate Project Mgr I - Shelf Edge Communications at H-E-B?
- Familiarity with project management processes and tools a plus
- Organization skills
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships

Can you
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Work extended hours; sit for extended periods

- Travel with overnight stays 1-2days/month
