Join us in our mission to safeguard vital systems and infrastructure from cyber threats! Support the Army at JBSA Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX and assist in managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and providing technical support in the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS) platform. Collaborate with other support specialists to assist in the RMF process for Army systems
Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks and vulnerabilities within the system infrastructure
Assist in the development and implementation of security controls and measures to ensure compliance with DoD, Army, and RMF guidelines
Participate in the preparation and maintenance of documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Conduct system security assessments based on NIST 800-53
Develops Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation documentation
Identify where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
Utilize the EMASS platform to track and manage system authorizations, security assessments, vulnerability findings, and POA&Ms
Provides oversight and guidance for securing and enhancing cyber resiliency for multiple types of control systems (CS)
Collaborate with system administrators and stakeholders to resolve security-related issues and provide technical guidance on security best practices
Stay updated with the latest RMF and EMASS tools, technologies, and policies to ensure effective and efficient support Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship is required by federal law
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance required
Understanding of the RMF process and experience supporting it within a government or military organization
Familiarity and proficiency with the EMASS platform required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits:
