Job description

OSAAVA Services is seeking a IS and Cyber Security Professional - Entry (AFIN Reporting Cell) professional to join our Air Force / Space team at Lackland AFB. IS and Cyber Security Professional primary function is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: In support of Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) mission, perform AFIN User Cyber Security Event Tracking and Resolution, and/or Orders Management. Completes tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Works with end users to determine the needs of individual departments. Implements policies or procedures and tracks compliance throughout the organization. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Process, coordinate, track, analyze, document, and report AFIN TCNO & MTO compliance and requested AFIN ASIs and vulnerabilities; negligent discharges of classified information (NDCIs) events; electronic storage incidents (ESIs); personally identifiable information (PII) incidents; cyber security events (CSEs); Active Indicator Monitoring (AIM) events; Network Vulnerability Reports (NVRs); AFIN incidents and high interest items. Receive, coordinate, de-conflict, and monitor authorized service interruptions (ASIs). Collect, analyze, document, and report AFIN vulnerability trend analysis. Collect, analyze, document, and report AFIN incidents, mission reports (MISREPs), situation reports (SITREPs), and high interest items for trend analysis. Receive, coordinate, de-conflict, and monitor NDCIs, ESIs, CSEs, PII incidents, AIM and NVR events. Review, coordinate, develop, and draft 16 AF NOTAMs, IAVA/Bs, POA&Ms and MTOs. Track, coordinate, document, and report IAVA/Bs and MTO compliance status. Acknowledge, document, and report AFIN IAV/B compliance data to USCYBERCOM. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years direct/related experience in information security.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification
Active Comptia Security +
Experience with DoD/USAF information security policy background with practical / hands-on experience applying RMF processes and principles.
Experience developing and/or contributing to an RMF body of evidence composition, applicable artifacts, and associated control families.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Security Clearance: Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
