We are seeking a mid-level engineer passionate about learning and building with Odoo to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work with the latest tools in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and support business-critical applications across various industries. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Odoo modules, customize the platform to meet business requirements, and streamline workflows that empower our users. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and is motivated to deepen their knowledge of the Odoo platform. Required Skills Security Plus 1 year experience with Odoo SME

Development: Design, develop, and implement custom Odoo modules using Python and JavaScript to address specific business needs.
Customization: Tailor existing modules using QWeb templating and the Odoo framework to improve user experience, enhance functionality, and optimize for performance.
Database Management: Utilize PostgreSQL to manage data effectively, ensuring stability, reliability, and high performance in data processing and retrieval.
Web Framework and UI: Leverage the Odoo MVC framework, including front-end styling with Bootstrap, to create responsive, user-friendly applications.
Integration: Work with Odoo's REST API to integrate with third-party applications and external systems.
Reporting: Use ReportLab to generate customized PDF reports that meet client specifications.
Testing and Debugging: Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, and document best practices.
Collaboration: Engage with other developers, designers, and stakeholders in the development process to maintain alignment with business goals.
Documentation and Training: Write technical documentation for custom modules, workflows, and integrations and provide training to other team members as needed.
2-4 years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in Python and JavaScript.
Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a big plus but not required; we'll help you get up to speed!).
Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for creating user interfaces.
Experience working within a web framework, ideally one that follows the MVC pattern.
Knowledge of REST APIs and how to integrate them.
Understanding of OAuth 2.0 or other authentication methods.
Experience in ReportLab or other reporting tools is a plus.
Must be a US Citizen.
Secret Clearance would be a plus.
Experience deploying and managing applications in Docker containers, including building Docker images, writing Dockerfiles, and troubleshooting container-based environments.
Familiarity with Docker Compose for managing multi-container applications, including database and other dependencies for Odoo.
Prior experience with Odoo framework and QWeb templating.
Understanding of Nginx or Werkzeug as part of web server deployment in containerized environments. Desired Skills Prior experience with Odoo framework and QWeb templating.
Familiarity with RabbitMQ for message-based architecture.
Knowledge of Nginx, Werkzeug, and other web server tools.
