Western Door Federal is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Accounts Payable) to support our government client in San Antonio, TX. This is a Department of Defense contract and will follow the DoD's protocol regarding vaccinations and/or testing. Work is generally expected to be on-site in San Antonio, TX with the potential for hybrid or remote. Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to: The Accounts Payable Support-Analyst works independently and cross-functionally across multiple accounting systems including the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Some day-to-day responsibilities include: Recording and assessing invoices: entering invoices into the accounts payable system and ensuring they are accurate. Processing payments: prepare checks for payment and processing payments. Maintaining records: filing and maintaining supplier records and updating account database. Communicating: communicating with internal and external stakeholders, using written, verbal and listening skills. Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or related field. 5-10 years of relevant accounts payable experience. Prior training/experience with GFEBS (Preferred) or Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS). Ability to utilize online financial systems and analyze data to generate reports and identify errors. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong writing and communication skills. Articulating project updates to direct supervisor. Strong time management and organizational skills. Plan and lead tasks and processes. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Military Health System (MHS) policy and regulations.
