The selected candidate will be involved in ongoing projects and have the opportunity to contribute to future initiatives as they arise. Location Remote Clearance Requirements Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. Essential Role and Responsibilities Silotech is on the lookout for a seasoned and proficient Senior Salesforce Developer to be a part of our dynamic team. The candidate should possess: Expertise in Core Technologies: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, VS Code, and Salesforce CLI plugin for VS code.
Knowledge of Salesforce Sharing Rules: Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing Salesforce sharing rules to control access and maintain data security.
Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Postman, and Web service APIs (Integration).
Ensures implementations are in compliance with product roadmap and with Enterprise/platform/solutions architecture.
Key Responsibilities Include: Developing and implementing bespoke solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
Engaging in all phases of the software development life cycle.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Building integrations with external systems and implementing security controls.
Adapting and enhancing existing Salesforce applications to meet evolving business needs.
Work in an agile environment with a team of developers, administrators, Quality Assurance, and Marketing Cloud administrators to develop and integrate Salesforce solutions.
Supporting the promotion of technical growth, respect between team members, empowerment, and continuous innovation. Ensure the platform is run as intelligently and efficiently as possible through continuous improvement, code reviews, and analysis of platform/governor limits.
Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience Minimum of 6+ years of in-depth experience in Salesforce development.
Extensive experience using development tools and techniques such as APEX, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Components, Communities, Custom Development, Process Builder, Approval Process, Data Security model, Triggers, Visualforce, Flow, Reports, Dashboards. Extensive experience using Salesforce's standard development tooling such as CLI, Data Loader, VS Code, and Salesforce Extensions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk)
Experience with ETL and Salesforce integration tools (MuleSoft and Informatica) - Nice to have
Experience with environment management, data management, release management, source control, code coverage, and CI/CD deployment methodologies (Flosum experience is a plus)
Must meet the requirements for obtaining a Public Trust security clearance. Certifications Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, etc.
