Our client, is a highly esteemed investment and real estate management company. We have partnered with them to fulfill a Staff Accountant opportunity for a highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented accountant who is excited about the industry. Candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Job Responsibilities

• General ledger entries and trial balance management
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Fixed Assets reporting; schedules and depreciations
• Prepares month end closing documents; year-end closing statements; and work with outside auditors as needed.
• Financial Statements - supporting and preparation
• Property level month-end financial includes: income statement, balance sheets, A/R, Rent Roll, Bank Recs
• Ad-hoc reports, including A/R aging, depreciation schedules, debt compliance, loan reporting
• Create and send invoices, maintain record of receivable aging and work on accounts receivable collections

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2-3 years of accounting minimum
• Solid General Ledger Accounting
• Fixed Assets
• Real Estate Accounting a plus, not required
• Strong Excel Knowledge
