Job description

Technician II Location: San Antonio, TX with on-site work performance only Full Time, Non-Exempt Summary of Position Duties include building cable assemblies, interface component sub-assemblies, PCB assemblies, and Rack-based test systems. Skills Necessary Soldered Terminations: Ability to solder wires and components to IPC J STD 001. Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies: Ability to assemble harness assemblies to IPC STD 620 Crimping Techniques: Proficiency in crimping stamped and formed contacts as well as machined contacts. Marking and Labeling: Ensuring proper labeling and marking of cables and harnesses. Technical Drawings and work directives: Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and follow work guides. Computer Systems: Ability to use required programs such as MS Office. Ability to learn ERP systems for project documentation, parts research, and time entry. Required Qualifications Citizenship verification is required due to Export Control compliance. A "US Person" is defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15, which includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain refugee or asylee designations. Willing to undergo an investigation for a security clearance and has not previously had a security clearance denied or dismissed. 2+ years of experience building cable assemblies and reading technical documents and drawings. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift 25-30 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting discrepancies, PCB assembly, and component modification. Active Secret Security Clearance IPC certification in Soldering and Cable and Wire Harness Assembly 5+ years of experience building cable assemblies and reading technical documents & drawings.
