Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Training Specialist. The Training Specialist will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Enterprise Information Technology Services Integrator (EITSI) missions. Assess training needs, develop and deliver training content and measure training effectiveness across the Military Health System. Work as part of a team of trainers working under the direction of the Government to provide training and any other support activities as directed. Use classroom, video, collaboration tools, web-based tools, and over the shoulder training mediums to engage learners. Possess a strong technical and training support background to foster a learning environment and a training curriculum that supports current state operations as well as any service changes to the EITSI MSI service delivery model. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Deliver effective training to a diverse audience of Medical Treatment Facility technical and clinical personnel.
Create training guides and training materials.
Ensure training materials meet DHA and EITSI standards. Maintain training materials in a Knowledge Base.
Interact with various third-party support groups to coordinate on-site or remote training on Service Desk supported applications. Develop training on DHA and EITSI operations to meet contract requirements. Write or facilitate the writing of lessons plans for applications.
Develop assessments for training modules. Provide MTF personnel with policies and guidance for using the DHA Global Service Center (GSC) services. Interact with various Global Service Center and Global Network Operations Center personnel to continually improve the core training material.
Investigate and suggest improvements to service delivery procedures. Promote adherence to GSC Service Operations policies and procedures. Promote a positive team environment. Collaborate with Continual Service Improvement branch to ensure all training collateral meets or exceeds Quality standards and requirements. Promote seamless communication within the DHA Global Service Center. Work special projects as required. Maintain all area documentation. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree.
Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain one.
US Citizen with Passport
Experience working with enterprise optimization tools such as Service Now or Remedy.
Experience with computer based or LMS learning development tools such as Adobe Captivate.
Familiar with and/or certified in curriculum development. Certified in ITIL4 required and maintain ITIL4 certification.
Must be able to travel when needed Must be onsite in San Antonio as needed
Apply the ADDIE instructional development approach to achieve continual improvement.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to produce original works.
Proven experience training a diverse group of topics including both technical and operational topics.
Strong customer service and communications skills.
Ability to develop professional training content. Strong English skills - both written and spoken.
Ability to organize travel details and manage travel expensesDesired Qualifications: Military or more specifically Military Health experience a plus
Certified PMP a plus
Current certification in Security+ CE a plus
