Their mission is to ensure the success of their clients by tackling complex cybersecurity, IT, OT, and ERP requirements.
From implementing a warehouse management system for the Defense Logistics Agency to developing the core DoD cybersecurity automation initiative "Comply-to-Connect," our partner has a history of exceeding expectations for prestigious clients. What you will do: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cisco ISE Network Security Engineer. This is a customer-facing role that will support the DoD Comply-to-Connect Program. We need someone who can hit the ground running and can produce excellent results with minimal supervision.
This engineer will be performing testing of new products and patches as well as performing documentation of test plans and test results. The engineer will be responsible for performing implementation of a solution and provide thorough documentation of this Cisco ISE oriented solution. Key Responsibilities
-Testing and Implementation
-Perform testing of new products and patches
-Implement CISCO ISE solutions and provide thorough documentation Configuration and Maintenance:
-Configure CISCO ISE in a DoD environment
-Conduct system updates and patch testing, documenting outcomes Documentation and Compliance:
-Document test plans and results
-Assess and implement DISA STIGs/SRGs Customer Interaction
-Participate in planning meetings
-Communicate effectively with clients to deliver exceptional service
Integration
-Utilize third-party integrations with CISCO ISE (e.g., MECM, Tenable).
-Independence and Initiative
-Produce excellent results with minimal supervision Qualification Requirements:
-At least 5 years of Cisco ISE experience
-5 years experience with implementation, sustainment, maintenance, and administration of the Cisco ISE NAC solution.
-At least 3 years of US Department of Defense experience
-At least an active SECRET security clearance
-Cisco CCNP Security Certified
-Security + Certified
-Ability to work independently
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent customer service skills
-Excellent writing skills
-High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Requirements:
-Configuration of Cisco ISE in a DoD environment (preferred)
-Experience with the DoD Comply-to-Connect program
-Experience using third party integrations with Cisco ISE (MECM, Tenable, etc.)
-Building Test Plans
-Conduct testing of new systems, updates and patches and document results
-Assessing DISA STIGs / SRGs
-Implementing DISA STIGS
-Participating in planning meetings Location: This is a remote role out of Fort Meade, MD, that will require occasional onsite presence at the partnered HQ in San Antonio. Preference is given to those in the San Antonio, TX area. Travel: Many of our positions involve traveling up to 20%, but for those who are adventurous, there are opportunities for even more travel. However, we can also provide opportunities with limited or no travel requirements for highly qualified candidates. This is a full-time position that requires candidates to be US Citizens with an active SECRET security clearance. Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000.
