Job description

Role Summary

This position is central to both providing regular IT support (hardware/software) and simplifying and automating corporate level processes and involves using the latest cloud tools to reduce time spent on manual work. It requires problem solving, self-teaching, and tenacity to be the driving force for productivity improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making tasks and processes more efficient, likes learning and mastering new software, and figuring out how to apply the latest technologies in a business.





What we need from you






  • Drive the automation initiative to dramatically reduce the number of hours spent on manual & routine processes, reporting and tasks (40% of the role)


    • Learn to use the latest SaaS tools such as Zapier, UiPath RPA, Twilio, DocParser, MailParser, Asana, etc. and build automated processes, test, and follow-up

    • Integrate multiple data sources such as BigQuery, MS SQL, Google Sheets, etc. to create dynamic reporting tools for operational teams

    • Examples include: eliminate spreadsheets for data entry and analysis, develop automated KPI dashboards, reduce manual routine processes throughout retail operations, cloud migration, use parsers to reduce manual reviews, etc.




  • Coordinate with internal teams and key personnel to understand requirements, map out existing processes, provide training, and implement and monitor changes to improve efficiencies (20% of the role)

    • Identify bottlenecks, points of error, excessive manual entries or manual reviews, etc.

    • Work with executives on proposing changes to tasks and functions

    • Provide end-user training to ensure projects are implemented smoothly

    • Drive initiatives to completion and monitor their effectiveness








  • Implement new IT initiatives, manage ad-hoc projects, and provide IT support (40% of the role)


    • Quickly master new software, apps and hardware and handle their implementation and training at the team or site-level

    • Manage and troubleshoot IT and hardware issues for the company both on- and off-site in a variety of applications




  • Execute other administrative tasks and technical projects as needed

Basic Requirements:




  • Approx 40 hours/week with flexible schedule

  • Hourly rate ranging from $24-30/hr based on experience (estimated salary equivalent $50,000 - $62,000+)

  • Be able work onsite at the office in The Woodlands, TX (I-45 and Research Forest Dr) and remotely as necessary COVID environment may change some normal routines

  • Be able to visit and troubleshoot issues at our retail locations within a 25 mile radius
