Test Technician Supervisor- 2ND Shift

Job Description

This supervisor role is responsible for managing a 2nd shift team of Test Technicians.

Shift: - This position is for 2nd work 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM. In the first several months, training will occur during day shift. After training is completed, the 2nd shift hours will apply.

Qualifications
â Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing or electronics testing environment.
â High School Diploma
â Good written / verbal communication skills. PC skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities:
â Plan, prioritize, schedule and assign work to technicians.
â Troubleshoot any technical issues with electronic equipment and provide timely solutions.
â Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with electronic equipment.
â Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any recurring technical issues.
â Ensure efficient use of resources and work with management on resource planning based on activity levels.
â Perform tests as required. Enter nonconformance reports and follow up with the Quality, Test or Manufacturing Engineers as appropriate.
â Assign and monitor daily work schedules and support production and new product development goals.
â Enable and monitor timely completion of tasks using key performance indicators and simple dashboards. Provide feedback to management about gaps.
â Identify tooling, equipment and supplies needed to ensure that work progresses in a safe and orderly manner. Perform or schedule and monitor routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
â Perform performance appraisals of team members and provide coaching and training as required.
â Identify improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles.
