If you have expertise in Mainframe services/resources, engineering, and operations and strong leadership skills, the EI SRE & Production Services team is looking for you to fill a role in its organization. In this role you would be responsible for leading a team that provides support for systems and business incidents by aligning them to the Fidelity Record Keeping system. The role will provide in-depth understanding of Defined Contribution domain with an opportunity to work with business while still being deeply connected to technology. The position will also offer opportunities to learn and support the system in Cloud Based technologies including Azure.
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
10+ years of experience in application and environment support and technology management in the financial services industry
5+ years of mainframe development/operations.
3+ years in the support of monitoring and management tools
Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS knowledge is a must.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
Production support experience with financial systems a plus.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the cloud space.
Ability to learn and work quickly to meet business deadlines.
Experience in Cloud development (primarily Azure) using Python, shell scripting, PowerShell etc. and cloud migration skills a plus.
Capable of partnering with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
Strong competency in expressing complex issues in a clear and concise manner, the ability to drive a message designed to compel thinking and action
Agile methodologies experience preferred
Working experience of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
Deep understanding of application tech stacks
Experience in Hybrid environments
Ability to work across teams to achieve desired results
