Security Cooperation Training Analyst Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: The Security Cooperation (SC) Training Analyst will serve as a member of the CACI contract team supporting U.S. Air Force (USAF) Headquarters, Air Education and Training Command's Future Operations Division (HQ AETC/A3X) in the Directorate
for Operations and Communications (HQ AETC/A3/6) at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph in San Antonio, Texas. Provide subject matter expertise for AF-wide SC programs to include evaluating and providing recommendations on how to improve SC education and training curriculum based on changing and/or emerging strategies and strategic-level guidance. Responsibilities: Provide MAJCOM-level review of all SC-related curriculum and suggest changes based on SC experience, doctrine, and familiarity with emerging requirements. Develop and present SC-related briefings and other correspondence to AETC leadership and other stakeholders. Support the SC enterprise as subject matter expert for Conventional Forces (CF) air advisor education and training oversight, policy, guidance, and resourcing. Coordinate with HQ USAF, SAF/IA, Joint Staff, MAJCOMs, C-MAJCOMs/C-NAFs, and other agencies to establish and validate air advisor education and training requirements. Support AETC, International Affairs and Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron developing and delivering training and education solutions in support of SC objectives. Conduct recurring curriculum reviews with participation of key stakeholders including HQ USAF, SAF, MAJCOMs, and CMAJCOMs/C-NAFs. Review specific CF air advisor course syllabi and recommends approval to the authority for granting waivers, exemptions, and interim changes to these syllabi and attendance of associated courses. Develop and manages CF air advisor education and training Advanced Distributed Learning course material. Capture and maintain a repository of lessons learned from CF air advisor training and advising activities. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent. Must have at least 5 years as a program manager. Must have at least 5 years of Air Force MAJCOM and/or HQ Air Force staff officer experience. Must have at least 3 years of experience in military training to include requirements analysis, planning, and resource programming. Must have working knowledge of USAF Readiness Training. Current Secret (NATO) U.S. Government security clearance or ability to acquire the clearance. Desired: Knowledge of the Expeditionary Air Base, Air Task Force, and Deployable Combat Wing constructs. Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and Mission Type Orders. Ability to serve on teams with demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail skills. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
