Job description

Duration: 6 months contract

Work schedule:

• 2nd shift Mon-Fri 2-10.

Description:
Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products . Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application.

Skills and experience requirements:

• Should have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech .

• GMP laboratory setting experience.
• Wet chemistry techniques.

• Some data interpretation required.

• Computer skills.

• Should exhibit good problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail.
• Well organized.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing preferred but not required.

• Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred ( analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter ).

• HPLC / GC testing and/or data.
• Basic HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting.
• Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower).

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree and 0-3+ years of experience with HPLC .

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Associate's degree preferred.

Other notable details:

• Fast-paced environment, team-player who can also work independently, potential for overtime.
