Nucor Rebar Fabrication is seeking applicants for our Sales Administrator position. This role will support the entire Texas Sales and Estimating Teams and can be located any of the following Texas branches: Dallas, Dayton, Waxahachie, or Jewett. Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Note: This position will support the entire Texas region Sales team, and can be located out of any of the following branch locations: Waxahachie, Dallas, Dayton, or Jewett.

PURPOSE:
Perform administrative support at a basic operational level regarding essential functions necessary for the Texas Region Sales and Estimating teams.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
• Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication's safety programs and standards.
• Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values.
• Assist with answering phones and general office administration functions.
• Communicate/distribute all pertinent Human Resources information to location employees.
• Assist sales/estimating staff in the preparation of sales bids and project quotations, contract document flow, and opportunity tracking.
• Assist with sales follow-up and reporting.
• Develop exceptional working relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors.
• Prepare and record necessary paperwork.
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two year degree from an accredited school or college
• Prior experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Able to coordinate multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers, and other electronic equipment
