What You'll Do:
The Service Center Manager at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is responsible to efficiently run one of our service centers nationwide. We want you to take pride in managing a service center from the bottom up, from daily tasks to reporting store profitability and recommending changes. Our managers direct the daily operations of all service center employees while maintaining responsibility for the center's performance.

How you'll make a difference:
Run a successful service center by maintaining costs and profits
Understand and adhere to both State and Federal laws in order to ensure compliance with corporate Human Resource, Legal and Environmental compliance
Mentor your team of employees to foster a collaborative work environment
Maintain a clean workspace that invites customers and incentives them to return
Develop local marketing programs to increase market awareness
Conduct training sessions (utilizing the Super Pro Training System) for service center employees
Ensure employees adhere to VIOC policies and procedures
Schedule staff, order service center inventory and manage day-to-day obstacles
What you'll need to succeed:
Currently in an R1 position or higher (or completion of an Associates degree or equivalent)
3+ years of experience in a service center, retail, or restaurant environment
Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
Knowledge of facility and safety control policies and practices
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight
Must have full mobility, twisting, and working for extended periods of time with hands above the head
Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
Must have reliable transportation
