Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for an entry level Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Establish and monitor controls in order to secure our on-premises networks and platforms
Innovate and identify opportunities to automate tasks and advance agile and secure solutions
Collaborate with leaders, peers and customer partners to maintain a multi-disciplinary focus
Develop Cybersecurity documentation and conduct peer reviews
Provide Cybersecurity reviews of access request forms
Work on system hardening verification
Provide Cybersecurity support for the change management process
Learn and become proficient in Risk Management Framework (RMF)What's In It For You

Hill Air Force Base, Utah Travel Clearance Requirement
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred. Certification Requirement
The applicant must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II, IAM Level I or higher certification requirements on hire date or must obtain such within 6 months of being hired. Citizenship Requirement
Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education and Experience Requirements are as follows:
HS diploma and 4 years of relevant experience, or
BS/BA degree with 0 years of relevant experience, or
MA/MS degree and 0 years of relevant experience
Specific training and education in Cybersecurity
Understanding of Cybersecurity methodologies, tools, and systems
Proven capacity to identify vulnerabilities and create impactful mitigation plans
Comfortably working independently to manage projects and tasks to completion
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Exceptional troubleshooter with experience resolving complex technical issuesClearance Requirement

Strong background in IT / Cybersecurity
General understanding of computer networks, hardware, databases, applications, security components, computer operations, and operating system maintenance
Understanding of the DoD environment and familiarity with the DoD
Experience providing world class customer service
Ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to non-technical leaders and user
Active security clearance preferred
DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II or higher certification requirements on hire date Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50580 - $85950 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
