Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening for a Principal Business Intelligence Administrator, supporting our growing Data Analytics team. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of strategic deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities: Conducts research and provide recommendations for the selection, implementation, and support for Business Intelligence Applications
Provides primary support for Business Intelligence Applications such as Tableau, Power BI, Plotley Dash, and others
Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, and installing software on servers and workstations
Conducts capacity and performance analysis
Provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
Uses automated tools and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy
Works with internal and external organizations to support various customer user level requirements, including resolving elevated end user support requests, and researching and deploying advanced technologies
Provides business process analysis and system requirements development
Implements approved system security policies to include the configuration of user access and permission across a variety of systems
Monitors application status; support application event triage, monitoring, tracking, and correlation and event characterization and escalation, work with vendors as needed for event resolution
Follows up with customer to ensure issues have been resolved
Provides technical assistance, training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of applications
Performs other duties as assigned

Remote Travel Clearance Requirement
The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred, but not required. Certification Requirement
If not already DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant, the applicant must receive CompTIA Security+ or other DoD IAT Level II certification within 6 months of employment. Citizenship Requirement

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required degree and years of relevant experience for this position are as follows: High School Diploma: 16+ years of experience, or
BS/BA Degree: 12+ years of experience, or
MS/MA Degree: 10+ years of experience
Required Experience & Skills: Experience working on a technical team to design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence Applications, specifically experience with Power BI or Tableau
Basic understanding of Agile best practices, including Scrum and DevSecOps
Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with stakeholders, team members, external vendors, various levels of management, and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
Experience resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
Proficient understanding of data repositories, logistics processes, scheduling and delivery best practices, and other business processes
Proficient with the software development lifecycle best practices
Clearance Requirement

Full-Time Salary Range: $91980 - $156330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
