Job description
Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our IRS Operations Service Support (OSS) 10K New Hire team. The Junior Project Manager will support IRS projects by overseeing equipment flow, managing asset records, and coordinating with various teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment. The role involves direct interaction with the Government Task Manager and providing progress reports on ongoing tasks. The ideal candidate will have supervisory skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties & Responsibilities Provide oversight and coordinate equipment flow (incoming, outgoing, replacement, repurposed, disposal). Ensure all asset records are up to date and accurate. Attend meetings and conference calls as needed to report on project status. Manage and update inventory using the IRS Asset Management Ticketing system. Provide weekly progress reports to the Government Task Manager. Supervise and assign work to other Contractor resources, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Qualifications Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation. Technical and supervisory skills to manage workload and oversee assigned resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with inventory management technology. Ability to work independently and as a team lead to maintain a productive working environment. Competency in managing data updates and inventory records.
