Job description

Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to join our IRS Operations Service Support (OSS) 10K New Hire team. The Mid-level Project Manager will oversee large-scale IT equipment deployment projects for the IRS, including managing the flow of new, replacement, and repurposed equipment. This role requires close collaboration with the Government Task Manager to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing government projects, especially in large-scale IT deployments, along with strong supervisory and technical skills. Duties & Responsibilities Plan and oversee large-scale IT equipment deployment projects. Coordinate the flow of equipment, ensuring timely replacement, repurposing, and disposal of IRS systems. Manage and update asset records and inventory in the IRS Asset Management Ticketing system. Attend meetings and conference calls with the Government Task Manager to provide progress updates. Supervise and assign work to Contractor resources, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Provide weekly progress reports to the IRS. Qualifications Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation. Experience managing large IT deployment projects, particularly for government agencies such as the Department of Treasury/IRS. Supervisory and workload management skills for overseeing assigned Contractor resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.). Strong data management skills for updating inventory records and managing orders. Experience with inventory management technology and the IRS Asset Management system.
