This intern will join the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis team to support the Verification and Validation (V&V) sub-team. The selected candidate will get to perform V&V various on models and simulations that span the Sentinel program. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD). Responsibilities may include: • Use various verification methods to ensure that a model or simulation and associated data represents the required specifications. Methods include, but are not limited to: Code and functionality review, Unit tests, Functional tests, and regressions tests
• Conduct various types of comparison tests to determine to what degree a model or simulation represent the real world. • Review V&V documentation generated by other Integrated Product Teams to ensure the documentation meets program requirements
• Utilize CAMEO and MBSE to model and analyze various V&V processes. Basic Qualifications A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025.
Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025. Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

Salary Range 2: $31 - $32
